Notice of Article Publications on Kokuba-Gumi’s Financial Recovery Completion

On August 21st, newspapers Ryukyu Shimpo and Okinawa Times morning edition published articles on Kokuba-Gumi’s financial recoery completion.

RISA Partners has been assisting Kokuba-gumi to rebuild their financial foundation since the take over of their loans and debts to local financial institutions in March last year. By realizing our resturcturing strategy, we substantially minimized the group’s interest-bearing debt. Therefore on August 20th, we announced the completion of their financial recovery. In addition, we announced the plan to elect RISA Partners President as the External Director at Kokuba-Gumi at the September 27th Shareholders meeting.

As announced on the July 19th, 2007 release, upon securing a financial health recovery, RISA Partners decided to shift our approach to one that is more proactive and aggressive. RISA Partners and Kokuba-gumi will continue to work together on developing collaborative projects in the future.
