Joint Investments with Soros Fund

RISA Partners, Inc. announced on 12 Apr, 2004 that the company reached the agreement with Soros Real Estate Investors, a Dutch company, to jointly invest in real estates in Japan. Soros Real Estate is an investment fund affiliated with a renowned American investor, Mr. George Soros.

Soros Group has already been active in Japan, investing in hotels. In cooperation with RISA Partners, Inc., the group will invest in non-hotel properties such as office buildings, condominiums, and retail properties.
Soros Group is understood to recognize that the rents for the better properties in the metropolitan areas have hit the bottom and expect long-term investments in such properties to be profitable. Although the group has not confirmed an exact amount to be invested, it is anticipated that its fund size can amount to 100B yen.　 (Nihon Keizai Shinbun)
