Work 24 Hours like Play (Jutaku Shinpo)

RISA Partners proposes a SOHO office that pushes the envelope

In Tokyo’s Hacchobori, an unique office building was born. The project completely rejects the notion that an office has desks and chairs. If your mind is working, then it’s an office - that’s the origination of this SOHO office space with a bath, a kitchen, and maybe a bed.

The developer, RISA Partners, acquired a 7-year-old empty building and collaborated with a design producer, IDEE R-project team to renovate it. The simple design helps to bring out the individuality of people working in the space, and is based on the concept of “playfulness of those who want to work 24 hours as if they are playing.”

The 7-floor building is called “Floor and Walls Hacchobori.” Located at 3-11-12 Hacchobori, Chuo-ku, and is 5 minutes walk from Hacchobori on Hibiya Line, 5 minutes walk from Takaracho on Asakusa Line, and 6 minutes walk from Kyobashi on Ginza Line.

The rental fee is about 11,000 JPY per Tsubo, including common service charge, but the building manager is aiming for 15,000 JPY.
